Shaw Island, Lindeman Island and Club Dead
We anchored in an excellent anchorage towards the south end of Shaw Island. As we were getting the dinghy ready to go for a hike on Lindeman Island another yacht anchored near us. We dropped by to say hello on our way to the hike and met a lovely couple who invited us back for sundowners when we returned.
Lindeman Island has a good hike up Mount Orford and provides great views from the summit. The pictures below show the 360 degree view.

The caretaker told us that the resort had been recently purchased by a Singapore company and they are about to start work renovating the buildings.
We returned back across the straight to Shaw Island and had a nice evening with the couple on the other yacht. The next morning as I was getting the dinghy put away for our next passage, I heard my name being called. When I tracked down where the shout was coming from it turned out to be Steve on a catamaran named Jester who I’ve met several times at various anchorages. We got together to catch-up before heading out for a long passage to Scawfell Island.
